Let's get straight to the point. When everything is well, V-steam is utterly useless. Our vagina has a microbiome of its own, and the bacterial balance is delicate and complex. There is no need to mess with it without good reason.
But when a woman just had a baby, it can take time and pain to recover fully, even though it was all worth it in the end, of course! So turning towards vaginal steaming, can be a solace. I am, by no means, a medical professional. Yet I have witnessed the benefits of this practice many times over, and so I can say with confidence that it will be right for you too.
Our blend contains 7 Powerplants, loaded with anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, energising and soothing properties, promoting healing, wellness and vitality.
The Blend: Lavender, Calendula, Rose, Chamomile, Irish Sea Moss, White Sage and Peppermint.
How to use it: Bring water to a boil, then pour it into a medium size bowl (or a sitz bath), and pop it inside your toilets, put one of our Post-Baby pouch in and let it infuse for 6-7 minutes. Then simply sit on your toilet and enjoy your V-steam for 15 to 20 mins. The usage frequency is, on the other hand, totally up to you, although we recommend 2-3 times a week, for up to 3 months.
Note: It never happened but if, for some reason you find steaming uncomfortable, or experience itchiness, do not continue.
